Kuddos and thanks to all of you for being so kind and patient. Sorry for my mentally challenged moment I had - but hey I'm a better person for it. ( is it a pain to use this chrono crash?) why, yes it is - but I guess it gets the job done. Oh make sure that the first color on the table is the color that makes your background disappear, in my case it was that ugly bright turquoise color as seen in the screen shot I attached below. in my example it had all the colors of the guy and the walls so I grabbed the sprite that had all of the colors and used that as ,y table.act file. so first you create a table or pallete but make sure you look up that one sprite that has all of the colors that will be used for all the frames in the object. gif can look like it has 3 or four colors - it actually can store more colors by something called loading a pallete ( see screen shot below) - in there you can create a table.act file so that every sprite has all of your colors stored in each sprite so that openbor can work correctly when animating your sprites. Well I just recently discovered that even though a. png files - what these guys were trying to tell me was correct all sprites must literally have the same color palette ( even the clear sprites or the sprites that only have one color) - you might - how is that possible chrono crash - how ? If I cant even edit or make a sprite show up with the colors I want - I will never be able to get started using openbor.ĮDIT: The info I'm looking for is not in here right?Ĭan anyone point me to a openbor manual that talks about this info?ĮDIT#3 I've added al the sprites in question ( well, except number 8 because this forum wont allow more than 10 sprites)īut yeah you can test them and get back to me of what the issue is because as of now the guy looses all his flesh colors and looks like a gray and weird when his performing the animation.Īpologies to everyone reading this thread for future generations to come gif file to work without all the colors even matching. My problem is that when I try to edit the colors or modify the sprite or come up with my own sprite from sratch all hell goes loose and I cant ever ,ever even get a single.
